Will X function the same way as Twitter?

Most of us are of course used to how Twitter works by now as it has been around since 2006, that's been 17 years can you believe it!  

But if for some reason you've been out of the game for an amount of time X (Twitter) works in much the same concept as most social media, you can post something in real-time be it some news or something you want to share to your friends and the rest of the world and people can react to it or re-tweet it. You can also re-tweet a tweet if you particularly like something somebody else posted and share it with your friends and following.  

Now that's just a really quick run down of what X (Twitter) is but there's so much more to be had on the platform. The world is your Oyster!  

Now for the main question:  

 

As far as we know so far by reading X's Chief Executive Officer Linda Yaccarino twitter messages and Elon Musk's vision that he's shared about X's future  

 

Twitter will undergo quite a change in the coming time forward with X (Twitter) turning into an "everything" app akin to WeChat as seen so widely used in China, from paying bills to making an appointment to the local chiropractor.  

 

Now this change will require a lot of investment both time-wise and monetarily and a slight bit of luck on Musk's side but if it manages to pull it off X could go on to see great successes as showcased by WeChat and it's massive adoption in China  

 

Nevertheless that does not necessarily mean that Twitter as we know it will disappear entirely within the next few years but it will most likely be incorporated into X and become a part of the platform rather than the main focus. Do keep in mind that this as of right now is all theory or rather an educated guess as we can't look into the future.
