The latest on the Twitter to X transformation right here!
Another two stories here today
First story hot off the press is next to the previously mentioned change of Tweetdeck to X Pro it's now compounded by another change. X Pro formerly Tweetdeck is now blocked behind a X Premium (Twitter Blue) paywall which has left a lot of people very unhappy.
The history on TweetDeck is telling on how this can rub people the wrong way.
Tweetdeck which was released over 10 years ago as a third party application and subsequently bought up by Twitter in 2011, was used as a great tool to manage multiple accounts which believe me for a big company is extremely useful. reacting and posing from the old Tweetdeck was also possible. Viewing trends, lists, hashtags and all you'd want in separate columns. This now being behind a paywall is one of the many questionable decisions Musk has made along with the introduction of Twitter Blue now X Premium was met with a lot of criticism at the time.
X Premium (Twitter Blue) would give you the ability to write more substantial posts and to rank in a higher spot in conversations. Namely he also brought back former banned users including former US President Donald Trump.
Now this doesn't come as a shock for those having paid closer attention to all Musk's team has said. In early July when the first changes to Tweetdeck happened that it would only be accessible for subscription paying users in 30 days from then on. And unfortunately as we can see they weren't kidding. No worries though Xvideodownloader.co has no plans whatsoever to ever require people to pay for our services.
Now onto the second story. Several news outlets have reported seeing delays on access to rivalling platforms like Facebook and Instagram. and various news outlets were hit too. Clicking a link on X.com to one of the aforementioned websites allegedly resulted in a delay of roughly 5 seconds before access to the website was given. Now whether this is an attempt to disgrace X.com or that it's actually happened is up for debate. I personally don't weigh on any side,
When X.com was approached for comment, The delay was confirmed to have been removed but no further comment given.
Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram was also approached for comment but no response was given Same story with Bluesky, A new X.com rival that has one of the original Twitter founders on its board of directors. He also did not reply. So make up your own mind on whoever to believe I'd say. Signing out! Catch you in the next blog.
