Giant X logo gets taken down just days after being constructed

The giant metal X on top of the X corp headquarters in San Francisco was removed after people complained at length on social media about both its safety and the epileptic risks attached to it.  

 

Last Friday night on the 28th of July a big metal X was quickly constructed on the roof of the headquarters of the big X , it pulsated with bright white lights really enthusiastically showcasing the new brand to its surroundings.  

 

It might’ve been a slight bit too enthusiastic as soon the neighboring people started complaining about its brightness and “strobe like” effects which could pose a serious health concern to people with epilepsy.  

Other concerns were being raised that it could fall over fairly easily if a big gust of wind hit the massive structure on top of X Corp HQ because pictures on social media made by the neighboring inhabitants of high apartment buildings showcased that it was only being held down by sand bags Obvious safety concerns apply there.  

 

However I will have to say that I applaud the sheer guts and extravagance of a gigantic X being on top of your headquarters instead of boring old letters like most logos are at this time.  

 

The San Francisco Department of Buildings sent out an inspector to the HQ on friday quickly responding to social media claims of worried people Although a company rep refused to give the inspector access to the roof and stated that the big X was a “temporary structure for an event”  

 

The inspector said in his report that he had spoken with the property manager and made an attempt to inspect the roof the following day, however on his arrival he again was refused at the door as seen in the public case note the inspector filed with the department on saturday.  

The inspector then proceeded to issue the company with a notice of violation of rules for lack of a permit for erecting the structure.  

Which could result in fines under further violation.

Yesterday on the last day of July the city council of San Francisco revealed almost twenty four more complaints it received ever since X erected the structure. Many complaints were for the reasons I mentioned previously e.g sandbag situation and strobe lighting.

One additional complaint noted that the logo began “drooping” off whatever that means and also it is unconfirmed.  

 

X Corp had issues with the department earlier this when they haphazardly tried to remove the old Twitter logo sign from the building. Police then went on ahead to temporarily shut down the whole operation of taking down the sign as potential safety issues could start to happen as the sidewalk and street were not closed down for the operation.

What else will Elon Musk do to aggravate the masses and get into the news headlines next? He certainly has a knack for doing so, the global news has been dominated by Musk’s actions at the social networking hub Twitter (soon to be X).  

 

His big transformation of the beloved website will definitely send some waves through the internet. You could almost say that since Musk has taken over Twitter has been in the headlines more than ever.  

 

Sadly our beloved platform was dwindling in popularity compared to the likes of Tiktok and Meta (formerly Facebook). Is this a craft of a genius or a fool’s gambit? That has yet to be determined and time will most definitely tell!  

 

But for the foreseeable future I believe the future of Twitter will most definitely be adventurous. Xsave will be there to see it through so don't you worry about that!
